Welcome to GCKids, the Kids Ministry at Grace Chapel, where our goal is to lead kids and families to find and follow Jesus.

When We Meet

SUNDAYS | 9 + 11 AM

We offer GCKids programming (nursery – grade 5) at both our 9 and 11 AM Sunday services. All kids programming takes place in our main Worship & Kids Building located on the north end of the campus.

When arriving on campus, please visit our GCKids Check-In table in the Upper Lobby to register and/or check-in your children. This is the starting point for all kids and families. Each child will receive a nametag with security code and parents will receive a pick-up tag with matching code for security upon pick-up. Parents can then accompany their child to the appropriate department location for drop-off. Our check-in team is always available to help you with any questions you may have.

Nursery

BIRTH – 2 1/2 YEAR OLDS
In the Nursery, we understand the value of even the youngest kids, and that God has lovingly created each child in a unique way. With that in mind we strive to provide a safe, caring environment for kids from birth to 2 ½ years of age in our Infant, Young Mover, and Toddler classes. Each Sunday, in addition to plenty of playtime, we are intentional to plant seeds of faith as kids experience God’s Word through age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, crafts, and hands-on activities.

Preschool / Elementary

2 1/2 – 3rd grade

GCKids Way is our ministry space that serves our preschool (ages 2.5 – 5) and elementary age (K – 3rd grade) children. We understand that children are precious in God’s sight and we strive for them to experience His love the moment they walk through our doors. It is our mission to lead kids to find and follow Jesus. Each week, kids experience a fun, interactive environment with new friends, crafts, activities, games, worship and large group Bible lessons using The Gospel Project curriculum.

Preteen

4th & 5th grade

In the Lodge (4th and 5th grades), we plant seeds of faith in Jesus through fun games, activities and worship. Kids will learn about God’s abundant love for them through large group Bible teaching, and grow their faith by learning how to apply the message in age-appropriate small groups. Our Preteen students have their own special space in the Lodge to dive deeper into God’s word during both large and small group times.

Serving at GCKids

Volunteering in Kids Ministry can make a huge impact in planting seeds and growing a child’s faith from a young age. Serving is also fun and a great way to connect with others at Grace Chapel!

Volunteer leaders typically serve 2x per month and always serve with a partner in varying roles. Our age-appropriate programming utilizes The Gospel Project curriculum to teach the Bible, in addition to worship songs, crafts/activities, and playtime.

CHILDCARE WORKERS NEEDED!

Grace Chapel is looking to add to our childcare team. Do you enjoy working with kids and could benefit from a little extra money in your pocket? We would love to consider having you join our childcare team. Childcare is not simply babysitting. We have goals to help every child and family we encounter find and follow Jesus.

We are currently seeking individuals (ages 14+) for childcare opportunities on Tuesday and/or Wednesday mornings. Childcare workers serve as a part of a team to care for children in the nursery through 5th grade.
